Earlier in the year, we teamed up with Mark Greenmantle Photography and Ten News Reporter Kristina Costalos to offer a photoshoot raffle prize to directly raise funds for Ruff Love Assistance Dogs.
We already know that Cherry Bomb Vintage Couture dresses, with vintage war bird planes through Mark Greenmantle's lens will be magical. But also throwing the stunning Kristina in for a good cause made this shoot all the more sweeter.
The photoshoot promoted a raffle prize in conjunction with the Red Thunder Air Show. The raffle raised much needed funds for Ruff Love Assistance Dogs Inc., a group which pairs puppies with veterans who've been injured physically or mentally, suffering anxiety/depression/PTSD. Kristina covered their mission on Channel 10 news.
I knew I wanted to do a soft half poodle updo with a detailed bumper bang on Kristina the moment Mark sent me this photo of her. With her charisma and light up the world smile, I knew she could pull it off. Tina Sparks topped it all off with a perfectly classic vintage makeup look.
Complete with a Cherry Bomb Vintage Couture dress, she was fully transformed.
Our job was done, and we sent her off to Fighter Pilot Adventure Flights at Archerfield Airport in Brisbane. While we were eagerly awaiting a sneak peak photo later in the day - because we know that Mark can't help himself and he always edits at least one photo within 12 hours of a shoot.
She looked like she had a blast at the shoot!
The raffle raised some much needed funds for the Ruff Love Assistance Dogs, but unfortunately, the photoshoot prize winner was a no show at the Red Thunder Air Show. At least the money went to the charity and we all had a lot of fun creating these images.
